What I do For
Organisations
This program will help your staff and employees increase their understanding of trauma, become more aware of the impact it has on people and the workplace, and ultimately improve productivity and culture.
Providing employees with the knowledge and skills to understand the impact of trauma on their colleagues, families and friends as well as themselves is a key solution in reducing workplace incidences of stress and burnout.
The Trauma informed business matters program provides staff training that has been specifically designed to train employees on how to manage their own wellbeing and the wellbeing of others in their workplaces. This will increase overall productivity, decrease work related stress and thereby lead to a healthier culture.
Our one day Trauma Informed Business Training will help you gain insight into the stressors of your employees and how trauma affects their behaviour. You will learn about ways to identify signs of trauma, what to do when someone is experiencing traumatic triggers and how to manage communication around stressful incidents. In addition this course provides insight into how to improve business outcomes through improved wellbeing and productivity.
Increased Employee Wellbeing
A trauma-informed workshop can create a safe and supportive environment that promotes employee wellbeing. Participants may learn how to recognise the signs of trauma and how to respond to it effectively. This can lead to improved mental health, lower levels of stress, and better work-life balance for employees. As a result, businesses may see a reduction in absenteeism, turnover, and workplace conflicts.
Enhanced Teamwork & Communication
Trauma-informed workshops can help employees develop a better understanding of one another's experiences and perspectives. This can improve communication, empathy, and teamwork among colleagues. Participants may also learn how to manage their own emotions and respond to others' needs in a more compassionate way. As a result, businesses may see an increase in productivity, innovation, and collaboration.
Improved Organisational Culture
Trauma-informed workshops can help businesses create a more inclusive and supportive culture that values diversity and promotes equity. Participants may learn how to identify and address systemic barriers that may be affecting marginalised employees. This can create a more positive and empowering work environment that fosters growth and development for all employees.
